East African Safari Air Express leased two BAe 146-2002 from South Africa's Allegiance Air in late summer 2010, replacing DC-9s on its scheduled services to Juba and Lokichoggio. However, both were returned in October when the airline suspended all flights. |

Kenya's Jetlink Express leased a BAe 146-100 from Albanian Airlines to substitute for it's Bombardier CRJ200 on services from Nairobi to Kisumu, near Lake Victoria, in 2009, when runway work at Kisumu limited the available length. A second 146, a series 200, was also leased briefly. |
