9H - Malta

Air Malta operated four Avro RJ70s from 1994 to 1998, when they were transferred to Azzurra Air, which was then its subsidiary. The airline repossessed the RJ70s from Azzurra's new owners for non-payment in 2003, and leased them out to other operators.

Maltese airline Efly operated a former Flybe BAe 146-300 from Malta to Catania in the fall of 2009. The 146 is currently in storage at Malta International Airport.
