Heritage Air BAe 146-200 RP-C5525 at Bandung (Indra Satrianto)

Heritage Air is a new Malaysian airline that began operations using a BAe 146-200 in December 2010. The airline is based in Melaka, and is owned by the Kemuning Group in partnership with Indonesia's Kagum Group. It intends to begin scheduled flights from Bandung to Melaka and Kuala Terenggangu by the end of the year or early 2011. The airline is wet-leasing BAe 146-200 RP-C5525 (msn E2031) from Lionair Subic Philippines, and plans to add a second example during 2011. Heritage Air operated its first flight, a charter on behalf of the Melaka state government, on December 12.
