A new Indonesian airline, PT Linus Airways, has leased two BAe 146-200s from BAE Systems Regional Aircraft. Linus Airways began operations on February 20, 2008, flying from Jakarta to Tanjung Pandan, an island between Sumatra and Borneo. Other routes have been gradually added, focusing on underserved regional destinations. Linus Airways operate two BAe 146-200s, PK-LNI (msn E2204) and PK-LNJ (msn E2210), configured with 98 seats in a single class. The airline plans to acquire as many as four more 146s. | ||
