Aegean Airlines launched scheduled services using two Avro RJ100s in 1999. The airline then acquired additional examples, eventually building up the fleet to six, which it used on domestic and regional routes from Athens. Two were returned off-lease in 2010, and the remaining four sold to Sky Wings in 2011.
