Jagson Airlines acquired an Avro RJ85 from BAE System in late 2010, intending to use her on scheduled flights linking New Delhi to regional destinations in northern India. However, its permit expired without it ever starting operations.

  MDLR Airlines

Indian airline MDLR Airlines began operations from Chandigarh with two former Turkish Airlines Avro RJ70s in late April 2007. A third RJ70 was added later. The airline suspended services in October 2009. The airline is seeking to restart operations, having recently purchased one of the RJ70s it had been flying.
