Auckland-based Air National operated former Jazz BAe 146-200 ZK-ECO (msn E2130) on private air charters throughout New Zealand, Australia, and the South Pacific. The 146 arrived in New Zealand in December 2008, and entered service with Air National in February 2009, following approval by the New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority. The airline was grounded in ealry 2011 following several safety lapses, and eventually surrendered its AOC. |

Air New Zealand repossessed the eight BAe 146-300s operated by Tasman Pacific Airlines as Qantas New Zealand in 2001. asman Pacific had been leasing the aircraft from Air New Zealand, an arrangement which dated from its origins as Ansett New Zealand. Four of the 146s were then operated by subsidiary Mount Cook on domestic routes for some time. |

Mount Cook operated four BAe 146-300s on behalf of Air New Zealand. The 146s were used to boost domestic services on routes from Auckland to Queenstown and from Christchurch to Rotorua and Queenstown. One remained in service until June 15, 2002. |

Tasman Pacific Airlines operated eight BAe 146-300s as Qantas New Zealand until April 2001. The airline's eight BAe 146s were re-possessed by Air New Zealand. |
